Because the fixes are potentially in the thousands of dollars, per home, we need to get as many homeowners identified as possible, especially homes, in subdivisions, and or condominium projects, where these products were used on every home.” The group says, “If a homeowner, or condominium owner, has noticed their window trim, fascia board, has failed, if it looks bloated, if it has turned dark, if it has delaminated, or failed in any other way, call us at 866-714-6466, and we will do everything possible to help homeowners identify the product type, and at the same time try to get them some meaningful help. The Construction Defect Center says, “Rotting, decaying, soft, or delaminated trim boards is not a new problem, its actually a very old problem, we completely understand the issue, and we do not want homeowners, especially those in a subdivision, or condominium project to get left holding the bag. While our initial focus of this investigation might be Louisiana Pacific, and or ABT Building Products, actually we are looking at all makers, and we will assist homeowners, in new homes with product identification, should they have these problems with their home’s exterior trim board, or siding products.
